Yacht Office

Well today I was able to get my office setup for a few days. 30 inch monitor with almost 140mb internet connection via Starlink.

I am now totally about to work from the boat as well as I do at home. The biggest limiting factor was the 15 inch screen on the laptop, but now with a 30 in monitor, I am totally set.

With the Starlink on the top of the boat, we have really good internet speeds. Although I did run into some initial trouble. Initially I tried using the MOFI router with both a cellular connection and with Starlink connected to the WAN Port, in a failover mode. The MOFI router didn’t do so well, I was only able to get about 10mb download speeds. Skip the MOFI and connect directly to Starlink and I get great speeds around 140mb today.
