Planning a Year on a Boat (YOAB)

We have started making plans to spend a year on a boat, and what I have started here with the DBA on a yacht is the perfect plan. One of my life goals to to spend and entire winter somewhere warm, somewhere outside of the pacific northwest. Here is what our boat looked like 2 days ago surrounded in ice.

When I purchased our boat, and started this DBA on a Yacht website, I had no plans for our boat to be locked in by ice. To get away from that takes a new plan and that is the Year on a Boat plan. Part of that involves a new boat, so we will likely be selling the Off Leash sometime in the next 9 to 10 months.
